"WICKEDLY" AWSOME!

"Is One Really Born Wicked?" Or is Wickedness, thrust upon them?
-Elphaba

Saturday Afternoon, Nan, Mom, and I headed down to the greatest adventure of all! We went to the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake, for the Matinee performance of 'Wicked." It has been several years since I have been to a play there. I use to go frequently with Nan, for my birthdays when I was younger.
We listened to the play's original music ALL the way down to get us in the mood that much more.

Stopped for a delicious lunch at Chili's on Riverdale, and still had time to spare.
The roads were good, and no delays. The traffic in Salt Lake was not bad either. As soon as we got parked and started walking down the street to the Capitol, and as we rounded the corner, I saw the billboard outside the theatre with bright lights, I was already sold! We took some pictures out front, and the crowd was already forming, of patrons waiting to get seated.

I went right over to a booth, that sells souvenirs from the show. I had to buy a COVENANTED show program highlighting the play, past performances, and original casts on Broadway. I am very proud of it, and will add it to my other collection of programs I have bought from other plays I've seen.

Soon we were seated, and my other family members arrived, My Cousin Blair, and his wife Christie, My other Aunt Susan, Uncle Dale, their daughter Jen and her husband Clive, her brother JD and his lovely, wife Kallie, and my brother Jared and sister-in-law Kellie. Nothing was better than watching this play with love ones.

Oh, ALL I can say is the MUSIC, COSTUMES, STORYLINE, ACTORS, ACTRESSES, and VOICES were ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! If you ever get a chance to see it, you should!!
I loved it from the start to end! And the leads that played the witches were awesome!! Made me want to go be in a play myself!!

We ended the evening at Crown Burgers, to celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday, and just talked. We all had a good time and I can't wait to go to another play again!
