Hey I am up and running.... OK no, up and walking, (and Blogging)! The surgery went well, and I have been home from the hospital since 12:00 today. Very happy to find that I am not in MUCH PAIN!! Yeah!! I have not had to take too many pain medications, and the appetite is coming back. Glad that the anesthetic has worn off, so I am no longer as drowsy or nauseous.
Overall the Doc said that the surgery was successful, and I believe that with time I will be better than before, with no more chronic pain. Now the best thing to do is be up and walk as much as possible, which is the best thing I can do to strengthen my back muscles and left leg. My post-op appointment is two weeks from now, and I should be in top shape by then.
We appreciate all the prayers, encouraging words, phone calls, emails, and visits. Thank-you, for being there, not only for us, but as our support!

So glad to hear it went well! I bet you are excited to start feeling better :). You must be quite the trooper up and about already. I am impressed.
