Fun, Filled, Easter Weekend!

The Easter Bunny, sent Brilee a red wagon, but asked that Brian put it together. He did a really good job doing it!
Brian worked so hard putting this wagon together! I am so proud of him!!

Christian had a blast looking for the eggs. he found two at the same time!

Mom and Dad, look on at all of us running around with the kids.

Christian contemplating over his candy.

The CUTE Easter basket we got just for Brilee Girl. We let her pick it out, and this of course was her favorite! Very princess like!

Brilee's eggs that we had fun dying and decorating.

Nan and I carefully dying ours! We just couldn't stop!!

Brilee wasn't really into the dying of the hard boiled eggs, but was more interested in watching us, and SNACKING.

Christian showing off one of his eggs! He LOVED the activity the most!

We spent Saturday and Sunday with my parents, my brother, his wife, son and daughter, along with Nan. On Saturday, around noonish, we had delicious homemade , grilled hamburgers, with all the fixings. Nan, and I prepared her always delicious potato salad to go with it. It was alot of fun enjoying each other's company. We all sat around and colored the hard boiled eggs, and had a fun time doing that. My nephew Christian especially loved it the most, and enjoyed the dunking of eggs in multiply colors at a time. We then later, had Christian and Brilee go out into my parents yard to search for colorful, candy filled, eggs.

It was so CUTE to see them both running all over the yard in search of the hidden prizes, little Brilee was so funny to watch the most. She carefully followed instructions in picking up the plastic eggs, and even put them in her "pretty, pink, princess, basket we got her. After, all the eggs were found, we adults sat around eating the leftover candy. The day was mighty nice, and we were grateful. We ended the evening playing a tough game of "Uno Spin," (christian's favorite). And some fierce rounds of "Scattergories," (Jared's fav).

Sunday, we had a feast of; funeral potatoes, honey baked ham, green beans, and to top it off strawberry shortcake. It was well prepared and ABSOLUTELY delicious!

Hope everyone else has had a wonderful Easter weekend as well!!
