We are coming to the end of another year. Wow! Time does fly by so fast. Where did it go to? So our cute little family is doing oh, so well! Experienced many changes this year, some unexpected and hard, but in the long run worth going through.
We have been married for 4 years, going on 5, which has also gone by fast! Have been settled in our small town of Garland/Tremonton for almost 2 years, and are now calling it "Home." Our sweet daughter is growing big and keeps our hands full! She is a real delight, and will be turning 3 this next year. She is a very happy, out going kid, who likes to tease us, laugh, play, talks non- stop and loves making new friends.
She has been going to a transitional Pre-school these past few months, called "Lil' Aggie's," in Brigham City. She has been doing well and can't wait for me to drop her off, without an even backward glance.
In the beginning of January, she will be starting the pre-school provided through Box Elder School District, and can stay in the program till she goes to Kindergarten. She is going through many changes as well, in her little life, but seems to be making great progess and adapting to the changes. We know that the pre-school in the long run will not only help her achieve many things academically, but also socially.
My sweet Hubby has been working a steady job at the Tremonton Autoliv location and will be there for almost two years. He seems to like it and they have been good to him and us overall. He works hard, and I know that it can take a toll, but I am grateful for his efforts and hard work.
He also had a knee surgery, on his left knee. He has been needing for years now, but finally after suffering for so long we opted to have it looked at by a specialist in Logan. He had it scoped and for the most part has helped keep the pain to a minium.
I was working for an insurance company that was struggling at the very beginning, and ended going out of business. I soon found myself trying to come up with a back up plan. Began working for the Box Elder School District and worked with High School age youth with special needs and behavioral problems. Did that till the end of school year let out.
We thought maybe I would be able to stay at home for the summer, but found it was best for me to keep chugging along. Then in the beginning of the summer, our lives made another change and I got hired on at a Family Doctors' Practice, in Providence UT. I began in the patient billing/acct receivable/acct payable, along with other various billing responsibilities, and now I have just moved up to as the " Billing manager," which came with more responsibilities with the job. But what can I say, except that I ABSOLUTELY love what I do! The Doctors' are very nice and great to work with. My co-workers are fabulous people who I am constantly learning so much from, and are such examples to me.
We count our lucky stars to have employment, and health insurance, especially with the economical slump everyone is going through right now.
So now the year for the McFarlane's is coming to a close as the holiday's are almost here. During the time as we gather with friends and love ones, may we take the time to think about are dear Savior and his birth. And may we think about serving others, and remembering that the holidays are about giving not about receiving.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
